For more than thirty years Jim Phillips has lived at the intersection of two callings — competing on the water and preaching from the pulpit. He grew up with a rod in his hand and a Bible on the nightstand, and he's never separated the two since.
As a tournament angler he's fished alongside the best in the business, earning pro-staff spots with the brands every serious angler knows. As a minister he's preached in country churches, FCA banquets, and industry events from one coast to the other.
For the past 35 years he has served as pastor of North Greenwood Baptist Church.
Today he works with fishing companies on positioning, dealer relationships, and pro-staff strategy — and shares the gospel with every audience that'll have him.
